Tip of the day: How to count single crochet rows

I'm starting this new blog section called TIP OF THE DAY with the idea of collecting all the questions that I receive from you via e-mail or facebook. They are the typical doubts we've always had , some of them basic, some of them not that basic, but quite common doubts after all.

Estoy empezando una nueva sección en el blog llamada EL TRUCO DEL DÍA, con la idea de recolectar todas esas preguntas que me hacéis por e-mail o en facebook. Son esas típicas dudas que todos hemos tenido alguna vez, algunas de ellas básicas, otras no tanto, pero bastante comunes al fin y al cabo.

So today's tip is HOW TO COUNT SINGLE CROCHET ROWS

Remember that when we talk about rows, we're talking about turning our work round at the end of every row. (Otherwise we'd be talking about rounds where you don't turn your work, but this is a different matter).

I have two different methods to count single crochet rows (this is how I count rows, you probably know other methods, I'd love to know about them):

Recuerda que cuando hablamos de filas nos referimos a cuando damos la vuelta a la labor cada vez que terminamos una fila. (De otro modo sería hablar de vueltas, pero esa es otra cuestión.)

Yo tengo dos formas distintas de contar filas de punto bajo (así es como las cuento yo, tú quizás conozcas otros métodos y me encantará saber sobre ellos!):

A- Identify in your work this kind of upside down V, with a small horizontal "hat" (see inside the circles). You can see those every other row, so bear in mind that there's another row in between. 

B- Identify this kind of V in your rows (you'll find them remarked on the image above). You can find them in every row, so it would be the regular way to count.

A- Identifica en tu labor una especie de V invertida con un pequeño "sombrerito" horizontal (mira en la imagen, lo que está dentro del círculo). Puedes encontrarlos una fila si, una no, por lo que debes tener en cuenta que entre ellos habrá otra fila siempre.

B- Identifica en tu labor una especie de V (las verás marcadas en la imagen). cada fila de V es una fila de tu trabajo.
